Program Use
Using Liter-Station is quite simple. Either open Liter-Station only when you need help or let it run alongside your Literati game so you can use it on any turn.
Scan
Use the Scan button to let Liter-Station populate its miniature board with tiles, duplicating the Literati game you are playing. Although you could manually add all the tiles yourself, this is probably the preferred method for most users.
Solve
Just as it suggests, this option tells Liter-Station to find all the words you can play. The found words appear in the list below and can be sorted by any of the visible columns.
Simply select a word to see how it fits onto the board.
Play
This option will actually play the selected word for you in your Literati game. You should set a reasonable delay between the placement of the tiles (see configurations) or your opponent will easily guess you are using an automated program.
Manual Setup
If you prefer not to let Liter-Station automatically identified the tiles, you can add them yourself. Simply click the square you want to change and then press the key corresponding to the tile that should be placed on the board. If the square should be blank, press the delete key. You can also do the same for the rack tiles, below the board squares.
To make a tile wild or non-wild, select the tile and press the spacebar.
Table Not Found
If you happen to see this message, it means Liter-Station could not see the table and wasn't able to identify where the tiles were placed. To correct this, you should make sure everything is off the Literati game board (including Liter-Station) and press the "Scan" button again.
You also need to make sure you are not playing with a "small table", one of the options you can enable from the Yahoo lobby. Small tables is not a default option, so if you didn't turn this option on, it's not likely that's the problem.
Other problems
If Liter-Station continues to have problems finding the table or identifying words and you can't seem to get it to work, create a debbugging file and send it to contact@stationsoftware.com. If the problem is shown to be correctable within the program, you may just receive a free registration for your help :)
