Pool Station Instructions
Pool Station is simple to use and shouldn't require a detailed explanation. Instead, we'll just cover the basics and I'll point out the "hidden" features or rules you may not identify by just playing around with the program.

How accurate is Pool Station?

For the most part, accuracy depends on the settings and the shot.

Combo shots are less accurate than simple bank shots. You can turn off combo shots from the configuration menu but most people prefer to leave it on because it may be less precise, but it is much more fun. Other aimers only calculate bank shots so if you want to test the accuracy of Pool Station compared to another program, you should probably take this into account and have it only draw banks.

Straight shots are more accurate than glancing strikes on the edge of a ball.

More lines means less accuracy. The default setting is 3 lines, which I have found to be ideal for online pool. Less doesn't tell much and more tends to be off more often.

Light shots are more accurate than hard shots. Medium shots are the most accurate.

Registration Benefits

If you decide to register Pool Station, you will be able to use the program indefinately, so it will never expire. In addition you will also receive free updates for a year after purchase. These updates will also run as registered for as long as you want.

Works with White Circle Aiming

Those Yahoo Pool players who have been playing pool for a while will know Yahoo has made some recent changes which broke all existing aimers. The current version of Pool Station (3.7 or higher) works fine with the new Yahoo Pool and was updated within a few hours of the change.
